Answer : 
Resetting the phone are going to be deletes all data, sort of a downloaded applications. keep in mind that make a copy data its important before you perfom a factory reset.


Resetting the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Android Phone :

  1. Press HOME -> MENU, and then touch SETTINGS.
  2. Scroll down the screen, and touch SDcard and Phone Storage.
  3. Navigate to the inner Phone Storage sections, touch Factory data Reset.
  4. On the Factory data reset screen, touch Reset Phone and bit Erase Everything.

Factory Reset using phone button on myTouch
Step 1. Turned Off Phone, press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons.
Step 2. Briefly Press the End CALL/POWER button whereas Continuiting to Press the HOME and BACK buttons.
Step 3. after you see the screen with the three Android pictures, release the HOME and BACK buttons, and then Press the TRACKBALL.
Tips : If your phone hangs or freezes, place the battery then await a moment or second, and re-install it. after re-installing the battery, activate the phone.


A Hard Reset restores the original factory setting and can erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, contacts stored |within the handset memory, etc. It doesn't erase data storage on the SIM card or memory card (if Available). copy all necessary data on the device memory before continuing.


Menu Path method :
1. From the home Screen, press the Menu key,
2. Touch/bit Setting,
3. Touch/bit and slide the menu upward,
4. Touch/bit SD card and phone storage,
5. Touch/bit Factory data reset,
6. Touch/bit Reset phone,
7. Touch/bit Erase everything,
8. The device will dump all of the data and reload.


Key Stoke method :
1. Power the device OFF,
*Note : if the device is unresponsive and doesn't shut down, take away the battery and then re-insert it.
2. Press and Hold the home key and also the red end key for thirty one second, don't release the keys if the Startup screen appears,
3. When the screen displays a warning sign, release the keys,
4. Press the home key and also the Power key once more,
5. When the Android system recovery utility appears, use the trackball to scroll and choose Wipe data factory reset,
6. When the reset is complete, choose reboot system now.
